This study was conducted from March to July, 2016 for the second year female students of Y university located in
Gyeonggi–do. The self-esteem scale test was conducted with the consent of 98 participants and 88 participants
participated in the program development process.The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1. In the
self-esteem test according to the FAT program, the item ‘I accept myself as it is’ showed the highest improvement (p
<0.001). In the negative item, ‘I am rejected or not expressed well’, ‘I am not confident in my appearance’, ‘I think
that the worst situation will happen if I am in a bad situation’ Self-esteem increased significantly(P <0.001). 2. In the
program activity contents, the order of positive self-image formation (3.79), relationship formation (3.68), establishment
of positive thinking (3.79), improvement of self-esteem (3.63), self understanding (3.38) Satisfaction. As a result of
theme-based wish fulfillment, ‘turn on candles on the water’ (4.44) and ‘bouquet of love’ (4.02) ‘Floating flowers on
the watering’ (3.99), ‘twilight Tree’ (3.94), ‘tea table for myself’ (3.92) appeared in order. On the other hand, my
inner voice (for youth) was the lowest in “Role Playing in the Village of Sesame leaf” at 2.66. The FAT program
conducted in this study showed a high evaluation of 3.38 to 3.79 overall. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously
develop the program of this study for female college students and to make it possible to utilize it in the process of
nutrition education and counseling.
