impacts on the overall development of the children. Is it the parents that matters the most? Or is it the
peers that matter the most to the overall development of the children? Children's the- Big-5 personality
factors scores were examined in relation to the mothers and fathers Child Rearing Practices Questionnaires.
Openness to new experiences and neuroticism only had noticeable significance, while agreeableness,
conscientiousness and extraversion had a few. The study results suggest that depending on child-rearing

concerning the influence of the peers.
