본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 사회부과적 완벽주의, 속박감, 삶의 의미, 수치심 간의 구조관계를 살펴 보는데 있다. 본 연구의 구체적인 가설은 첫째, 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의가 수치심에 미치는 영 향을 속박감이 매개할 것이며, 둘째, 이러한 매개효과는 삶의 의미에 의해 조절될 것으로 설정되었 다. 연구의 대상은 서울, 경북, 경남 지역 대학생들로 이들에게 설문을 실시하여 수집된 자료 중 부 실한 응답을 제외하고 총 332명의 자료를 바탕으로 구조방정식 모형을 통해 검증하였다. 그 결과, 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의가 수치심에 미치는 영향을 속박감이 부분 매개하는 것으로 나타났고, 삶의 의미는 속박감이 수치심에 미치는 영향을 유의하게 조절하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 시사점 및 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.
The Purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among socially-prescribed perfectionism, shame, entrapment, and meaning in life. For this purpose, we examined the mediated effect of entrapment between socially-prescribed perfectionism and shame. Also the study tested the moderated effect of meaning in life among socially-prescribed perfectionism, entrapment and shame. A total of 342 university students in Seoul, Kyoungbuk and Kyoungnam participated in this study, and the data was analyzed by structural equation modeling method. The results showed that entrapment partly mediated the relationship between socially-prescribed perfectionism and shame. In addition, meaning in life moderated the relation between entrapment and shame, but not between socially-prescribed perfectionism and entrapment. Limitations and implications of this study were discussed.
