This paper examines the impacts of early childhood experiences on brain development and supporting
strategies that early childhood education may give. Early childhood is the shortest but fastest growing
period of the human life cycle. Especially, young children’s early experiences can be important factors in
the formation of brain development, which is rooted in various other developmental areas. Therefore, the
aim of this study is to investigate parenting and teaching strategies to guide children to have positive early
experiences and to help children reduce stress. In order to build healthy brain development, multisensory
and cognitive stimulation are needed, but we have to keep our children away from excessive stress. Warm
and responsive caregivers and teachers may help children have resilience. It is important to support
high-quality nurturing and educational environment for young children to lay the foundation for brain
