This study is to identify predicting factors of the performance of colonoscopy examination in Korean
adults. Data were surveyed using interview and questionnaires by 126 patients who had visited a general
hospital located in C and K areas from December 5, 2016 to January 30, 2017. The conduct of the
colonoscopy performed in accordance with the general characteristics and lifestyle was carried out by
chi-squre test. Additionally, a multi logistic regression analysis was performed to see the factors affecting
the conduct of the colonoscopy. The results were as follows. Firstly, people who worried so much about
colon cancer were found to be 60.1 percent higher than those of 39.9 percent. Secondly, in the
consciousness of health, subjects(75.5%) who do colonoscopy were higher that those(57.4%) who don’t have
a colonoscopy in good health(.(X2=5.18, p<.05). Thirdly, in terms of gender, males showed 2.09 times a
significantly higher level in colonoscopy examination than females(OR=2.09, 95% Cl=1.28-5.19). In
conclusion, it suggests that inducing aggressive behaviral changes in the implementation of colonoscopy
results is crucial to preventing colorectal cancer. It is believed that inducing aggressive behavioral changes in the implementation of colonoscopy results is crucial to preventing bowel cancer
