본 연구는 2016년 충남도민 평생교육요구조사 자료 4,108부 중에서 65세 이상 노인의 자료만을 선 별하여 평생교육 참여관심, 참여경험, 참여동기 및 성과와 참여의사간의 관계를 파악하고, 충남 노인 의 평생교육 참여의사 영향변인을 파악함으로써, 충남 노인평생교육 활성화 방안을 제언하는데 연구 의 목적이 있다. 주된 연구결과를 살펴보면, 형식교육과 비형식교육 모두 평생교육에 관한 참여관심 이 높으면 참여의사도 높았고, 평생교육에 참여한 경험이 있는 노인이 참여한 적이 없는 노인에 비해 향후 평생교육에 대한 참여의사도 높았다. 둘째, 평생교육에 참여한 충남노인의 361명을 대상으로 하 여 평생교육 참여의사 영향변인을 파악한 결과, 비형식교육 참여관심이 높을수록, 직업적성취동기가 높을수록 형식교육 참여의사가 높아지고, 신체심리사회적건강 동기가 높을수록 형식교육 참여의시가 낮아졌다. 비형식교육참여경험이 있는 경우, 형식교육참여관심이 높을수록 비형식교육참여의사도 높 아졌다.
This study aims to suggest the activation plan of lifelong education for the Elderly in Chungcheong nam-do Province, upon investigating the correlation among participation interest in lifelong education, participation experiences, participation motive, performances and participation intention from the selected data only for the aged over 65 years old out of 4,108 data in the survey on lifelong education needs among those in Chungcheong nam-do Province 2016, and upon understanding the variables to influence their participation intention in the lifelong education. Upon the main study results, they showed higher level of participation intention as participation interest was higher in the lifelong education whether formal or informal education, and higher level of participation intention in those who had participation experiences than those who did not. Second, on the results of influential variables on the participation intention in lifelong education among 361 old people who participated in lifelong education, they showed higher participation intention in the formal education as the motive of professional achievement was higher, and lower intention in the formal education as the motive of physico-psychosocial health was higher. In case of those who had experiences of informal education participation, they showed higher participation intention in the informal education as the participation interest in formal education was higher.
