As the era of the fourth industrial revolution comes, competition among enterprises is intensifying, and
many companies are already disappearing and new concept enterprises are being created and flourishing. In
this era, it is difficult to secure a competitive advantage by improving product functions, and it is a trend
to focus on raising the value of products as services by developing services that other companies can not
imitate. For a long time, the emergence of new and innovative information technologies has changed the
business environment and values as well as people's daily lives. The change brought about the emergence
of smartphones, which enabled the environment to change more rapidly throughout society. However, as the
smartphone market is now saturated, there is a growing interest in wearable smart devices when a system
that increases the value of new products and services is needed. The scope of this study examines the
definition, related works of PSS and previous literature studies to understand characteristics of wearable
healthcare equipment based on PSS and the empirical study was conducted to examine the factors that
could affect the consumers' intention to use wearable healthcare equipment based on PSS.
