The Korean wave phenomenon of Korea has been attracting attention from the cultural aspect and
economic phenomenon globally, and the positive national image about the Korean wave phenomenon has
been formed. Many Korean researchers have reported that Korea's image of Korea has soared due to the
Korean wave phenomenon, which has a significant effect on exports due to favorable impressions of
Korean products. In addition, with the increase in awareness, the quality of the product is improved
together, which contributes greatly to the improvement of export. Among these positive phenomena,
attention was paid to the announcement of the results of researches that Korean Wave has a lot of
influence on the export of consumer goods. In order to investigate the effect of k-tv drama on cosmetics
exports by using Google search, we examined the trend of k-tv drama search volume and cosmetics exports
in countries with high index of Korean wave index. The comparison of export performance by country
according to elevation shows positive effect. It is confirmed that the influence of the Korean Wave is
leading to an increase in national recognition and an increase in the export of cosmetics as consumer
goods.
