Balanced language approach is a balanced approach to collective language (meaning through picture
book) and phonics (grasp the relationship between letters and sounds). The reason for using a picture book
in a balanced language approach is that the excellent illustrations in the picture book are used to convey
stories and create meaning. Especially for infants who want to learn language, it can be a great help to
understand the meaning in the whole context with a picture book, reading a picture book, looking for a
word like the first name of his name, searching for a letter (alphabet) The combination of phonics
activities such as sounding shows that the recognition of the meaning of the word and the relationship
between the letter and the sound are more effective for the phonetic alphabet reading learning.
Generally speaking, phonemic and phonetics are better suited to phonemic education as a basic
component, and syllable and ideograms are better suited to a holistic teaching method that provides
complete reading and writing from the beginning. In the case of Hangul(Korean Alphabet), which has both
aspects, it would be a good education method to use both methods more effectively than to focus on one
type of education.
The use of various visual and speech materials in child language education shows that language
education is effective. Realistic contents that can convey various visual and speech information can enable a
balanced language approach in child language education. AR Puzzle (aka AR Puzzle), which uses
augmented reality and language puzzles, implements the meaning of combined words and sentences as
augmented reality contents by putting together puzzle blocks marked with language, To increase the
effectiveness of language education.
This study deals with a method for constructing Korean puzzle blocks for a language education device
based on augmented reality contents and language puzzles. It will propose a Korean language education
model based on nouns, postpositions, verbs, and adjectives among Korean's the nine parts of speech in
consideration of the characteristics of the language education apparatus (visualization possibility), The
efficiency of Korean block production and educational interest and difficulty.
