이 연구에서는 특수교육분야에서 스마트러닝의 개념적 의미를 어떻게 인식하고 있는지 파악하고, 장애학생을 위한 실제 수업장면에서 스마트러닝이 어떻게 적용되어야 하는지를 탐색하여 최근 특수교육 분야에서 증가하고 있는 스마트러닝 교수 프로그램이 보다 효율적으로 적용될 수 있도록 그 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 스마트러닝에 대한 연구 및 교육 경험이 풍부한 특수교사와 관련 학과 교수 9인을 대상으로 초점집단면담을 실시하였다. 면담결과를 개방부호화 과정을 통해 분석한 결과, 특수교육에서의 스마트러닝의 개념과 실천에 대한 7개의 주제와 22개의 하위 주제를 도출하였다. 7개의 주제는 1)개념, 2)현황, 3)일반교육에서의 적용과의 차이점, 4)적절한 교육과정, 5)교사의 역할, 6)학습자평가, 7)향후 발전 방향에 대한 내용을 담고 있으며, 각 주제는 연구결과로서 논의되었다. 이를 근거로 특수교육에서의 스마트러닝이 성공적으로 적용되기 위해 필요한 지침 및 고려할 점을 제안하였다.
The purposes of this study were to suggest future directions for the successful application of Smart-learning in special education through exploring experts' opinions on the concept and the instructional strategies of Smart-learning. For this study, a total of 9 professors and teachers, who have substantial research experience and practice on this topic, participated in focus group interviews. The scripts of the interviews were analyzed with an open coding method and seven themes and twenty two sub-themes were classified. We discussed Smart-learning in special education under these seven themes: 1) the concept, 2) the current status 3) the differences between general education and special education, 4) the adequate curriculum 5) the role of teachers 6) the evaluation of students, and 7) the future directions. Finally, based on the results, several specific implications on Smart-learning in special education were provided.
