We live at a time when we have been presented with an opportunity to dramatically improve the quality of life and well being of individuals throughout the world. The convergence of social, cultural and economic changes over the past several decades in The Republic of Korea have focused greater attention on the importance and value of leisure. Increasingly, individuals seek a greater sense of satisfaction and well-being in their lives. Quality of life concerns are high on the agenda in contemporary Korean society.
