This study aimed to explore into professional risks of male therapists in ethical and professional perspectives. The beginning part of this paper introduced professional ethics codes in medical and counseling areas along with 5 basic principles of general ethics. Additionally, this paper presented a model of ethical judgement in counseling supervision for male therapists\' ethical judgement. Second part of this paper identified professions of counseling and psychotherapy as \'women\'s caring profession\', which drove male counsellors into professional difficulties. Thirdly, this study raised some issues of conflict between feminist counseling and traditional patriarchal ideologies. Fourth, this paper explored male therapists\' professional and ethical risks in therapy. Lastly, some requirements for effective male therapists were proposed and discussed.
