The purpose of the present study was to examine on Normalization philosophy and many efforts which have been making for normalization of sexual lives of people with mental disabilities and then to explore the limitations in the tries. Reflecting considerations on them, pragmatic implications based on individual, family, and societal dimensions were also presented to support comprehensively persons with mental disabilities to live their sexual lives. This work will serve to change perceptions of community members as well as parents and professionals and in turn, to find out best ways to guide normalization of sexual lives of people with mental disabilities towards right orientation.
