본 연구는 아동과 청소년을 보호,양육하고 있는 그룹홈에 대해 2000년 당시의 실태조사와 비교분석하여 어떠한 변화가 있었는지 그리고 그 변화의 요인은 무엇이었는지를 집중적으로 분석하고자한다. 주로 그룹홈 운영실태에 있어서 변화가 있었는지 그리고 그룹홈이 안고 있는 과제와 그룹홈에 대한 발전방안 등을 다루기로 하겠다. 그리고 그룹홈에 대한 이해를 돕기 위해 그룹홈의 개념과 이론적 근거 등 그룹홈에 대한 이론적 성과 등을 포함시켰다. 이러한 실태조사 결과 5년 사이에 그룹홈이 대폭 확대되었고, 그룹홈 종사자들 중 사회복지사가 급증하였고 그룹홈 이용 아동청소년들의 만족도가 크게 향상된 것으로 나타났다.그리고 그룹홈 운영자와 종사자들은 장시간 근무의 단축과 열악한 보수체계의 개선을 시급한 과제로 들고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 이러한 실태조사를 토대로 그룹홈에 대한 운영비 지원의 정상화, 센터형 그룹홈의 육성, 그룹홈정보지원센터의 설치를 통한 그룹홈 서비스의 질 향상 등을 과제로 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study is to understand the changes of grouphomes for caring choldren and youth from 2000 years to 2005years. If any changes are, I will analyze the reasons of the changes. And I suggest the challenges and directions of grouphome for children.. And I contained the concept and theories of grouphomes for expanding knowledge about grouphome. This investigation is suggested that grouphomes and the guranteed social worker were increased rapidly, improved the degree of satisfactory of the children in grouphomes . Also, the result of this survey, the managers and workers suffered a longtime working and very lower salary system and exposed the dangers of burnout. As the results of this survey, I suddest several items for the improvement of grouphome services; the normalization of grouphome funding and realization of salary, to bring up for centered type grouphome, to establish the center for supporting grouphome
