the present reseach was undertaken to evaluste the possibility of water purification filter with activated carbon fibers(ACFs) using a very low cost precusor consisting of phenolic resin coated on glass fibers. The simplified proce-dure involving coating, cuting and activation and a very low cost glass fiber as a raw material were adopted in order to (AC, Calgon F-200)werw investigated in the initial concentration rang from 19 50 49 ppm for kinetics.
