The purpose of the present study was to examine the perception of general teachers in early childhood education regarding children at-risk for developmental learning disabilities. The participants of this study were 148 general teachers in early childhood education from 15 private kindergartens located throughout Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Surveys were used to examine the characteristics of children at-risk in six domains including verbal, cognitive, social, kinesthetic co-ordination, auditory perception, visual perception area of developmental learning disabilities. Results indicated that the children at-risk for developmental learning disabilities showed several characteristics under the each domains. Based on the findings of this study, implications for teachers and researchers were discussed. This study provided fundamental data to develop early identification system and diagnosis for children who are at risk for learning disabilities.
