It is very important that deaf college students who have difficulties in communication find their own aptitude and also choose the job which they want. But deaf college students have difficulties in not only approaching various vocational information but also deciding their course because of limitation of vocational choice and a lack of self-confidence. Accordingly, this study aimed at developing a career group intervention program and analyzing the effect for deaf college students. To begin with, career group intervention program for the deaf college students is developed through researches for the deaf and analysis of previous study for a career group intervention program which is developed so far and career counselors\' advice. After that, the first program was carried out from 10. 21, 2003 to 11. 27, 2003 to verify effect of the program. And the second program was conducted from 4. 6, 2004 to 5. 13, 2004 after modifying and filling up the result of the first program. Both the first and the second program are carried out to experiment group for six weeks(twelve sessions) and not to control group. Two particular programs such as Career Preparation Behavior Test developed by Seo, jinsuk(1998) and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Short Form developed Betz(1983) is used as measuring instrument of both pre-test and post-test. The results of this study were as follows. First, the result of the first program showed that Career Preparation Behavior and goal establishment, future plan in the subordinate variation of career self-efficacy were enhanced sufficiently. Second, after revising the first program, the result of the second program showed that Career Preparation Behavior as well as career self-efficacy and job information collection, future plan, problem solution in the subordinate variation of career self-efficacy were enhanced sufficiently. Therefore, this study is expected that the deaf college students themselves can choose jobs which is suitable to their own interest and aptitude and that they can design their own future and feel pleasure, worth as they achieve them. And this study is supposed that they can seek not only economical, psychological equilibrium but also can be released from unsuitability undergoing in their job.
