The purpose of this study is to investigate the children\'s awareness of genders and then to achieve positive educational implications for two genders to live equally by providing the children a gender equality education program. The groups involved in the study consist of age 7 in a childcare center in Ansan-Shi. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was revealed that the children had perceived fixed concept of the gender role after performing a questionary that asks the conception of genders. Second, we investigated whether children obtained the unbiased viewpoint after receiving the gender equality education. It was found out that there were the positive changes and even improvements in understanding of gender concept in six aspects such as occupation, color, play, housework, child rearing, gender distinction. It was confirmed that children can get rid of the bias, building a harmonious society, depending on how they are educated and cared in a such flexible period. Human beings are inherited to live freely regardless of their genders, so it is necessary to provide children to have positive and acceptable viewpoints before they become biased in gender role. As a result, the study suggests that the gender equality education program shed strong educational insights to children.
