This study is to find out an educational significance of Korean educational idea in Kan-do region during the Japanese-ruling period. Since Japan began to invade the Korean peninsula and lots of Koreans began to move to the Kan-do region to live there, the Kan-do region became one of the interesting places among the people of Korea and other countries. That was one of the reasons why more Korean racial private schools had been established than in other regions since 1910. The ideas of these schools were mainly focused on promoting the modernization of people\'s idea and national spirit. But in the practical educational field Korean national ideas and anti-Japan thoughts were paid close attention by the educators more than any other ideas. The characteristics of Kan-do national education are as follows: 1) They educated a new education connected with national civilization thoughts. 2) They inspired Korean nationalism. 3) Women education was established in newly opened women\'s schools. 4) Education movement against Japanese invasion was operated for the purpose of national independence. 5) National education movement was turned to anti-Japan armed independence movement after March 13 movement. 6) National education was turned to anti-feudalism education as well as anti-social imperialism.
