The main purpose of this study is to analysis the relationships between the
school climate and pupil control ideology by the school size in the elementary
school. For this purpose, the study was conducted as follows:
Firstly, what difference is there between the school size and the school climate
type?(Classification of two school climate type: open climate/ closed climate)
Secondly, what relationship is there between school size and teacher\'s pupil
control ideology?(Classification of two pupil control ideology type: custodial
orientation/ humanistic orientation)
Thirdly, what difference is there between the school climate and teacher\'s pupil
control ideology?
Fourdly, Secondly, what relationship is there between school size, the school
climate and teacher\'s pupil control ideology?
As the research method to resolve these issues of study, both the descriptive
study and the research study through the questionnaire method were used in
combination.
The findings were summarized as follows:
1) As a result of inquiring into whether there is a difference in the level of the
teacher\'s awareness of the school climate type with the school size, it was
shown that closed climate type of school climate according to the large size
of school was significantly different at 5 percent level.
2) It was shown that the teacher\'s custodial orientation of PCI according to the
large size of school was significantly different at 1 percent level.
3) The school climate and the degree teacher\'s pupil control ideology according
to the large size of school was significantly different at 5 percent level.
