아마추어 골퍼들의 스포츠 심리 분석

본 연구는 아마추어 골퍼들의 스포츠에 대한 심리 특성, 즉 정신력의 측면을 실증적으 로 규명하고자 하는데 그 목적을 가지고 인천시에 소재한 5곳의 골프연습장을 무선표집 (simple random sampling) 방법을 이용하여 선정하였으며 또 3년 이상의 경력을 가진 골퍼들을 대상으로 설문 자료를 수집하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째 아마추어 골퍼들의 성별에 따른 스포츠 심리 특성의 차이는 남자 골퍼들이 여자 골퍼들에 비해 스포츠 정신력의 하위영역인 승부욕과 투지의 영역에서 통계적으로 높은 수준을 나타내고 있다. 둘째, 아마추어 골퍼들의 연령 수준에 따른 스포츠 심리 특성의 차이는 스포츠 정신력 의 하위영역인 전 영역에서 10, 20대 집단이 가장 높고 그 다음으로 60, 70대 집단이며, 나머지 30대, 40대, 50대 집단은 어떤 일관되고 통일된 행동 특성을 보이지는 않는다. 구 체적으로 10, 20대 집단은 40대 집단에 비해 승부욕이 높고, 또 40대 집단과 50대 집단 에 비해 투지가 높다.

영문초록

The purpose of this study was to analysis to sport psychology of amateur golfers. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire in which sport mental consisted of questions regarding winning spirit, struggle effort, endurance, indomitable fighting spirit as identified by Kim(2002). The questionnaire\'s validity was evaluated by a panel of experts, and since the Cronbach alpha values ranged from .7591 to .8539, the questionnaire was deemed to be highly reliable. 89 subjects were selected from 5 golf driving ranges in Inchon by the simple random sampling method. Among these selected subjects, 89(100%) responded, and data analyses consisted of employing descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA using SPSS/PC version 11.0. The following results were obtained : First, sport mental of golfers differ statistically and significantly with respect to gender. The winning spirit and fighting spirit of male are greater than the those of female. Second, sport mental of golfers differ statistically and significantly with respect to level of age. The winning spirit and fighting spirit of teens and twenties are greater than the those of forties and fifties.
