본 연구의 목적은 국가수준의 유치원 교육과정 정보 활용 현황 및 정보공유시스템 구축에 대한 요구를알아보기 위한 것이었다. 이를 위하여 전국의 유아교육 전문가 및 유치원 학부모를 대상으로 ‘국가 수준의 유치원 교육과정 정보 활용 현황 및 정보공유시스템에 대한 요구 질문지’를 배부하여 회수된 질문지중 총 1,232부(전문가 729부, 학부모 503부)가 자료 처리되었다. 연구 결과, 유아교육 전문가와 유치원 학부모 모두 교육과정 정보를 활용하는 비율이 낮은 편이었으 며, 특히, 유치원 교육과정에 대한 정보를 얻을 수 있는 웹 사이트에 대해서는 유아교육 전문가의 경우에도 있는지 모른다는 응답이 가장 높았고, 최신 정보가 업데이트 되지 않아 사용하는데 불편하다는 의견이다소 높았다. 그러나 국가수준의 유치원 교육과정 정보공유시스템을 구축하는 것은 필요하다는 요구가매우 높았다. 이를 볼 때 유아교육 전문가 뿐 아니라 학부모도 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 국가수준의 유치원교육과정 정보시스템을 구축하는 것이 필요함을 알 수 있다. 또한 효율적인 운영을 위해 유치원 교육과정정보공유시스템에 대한 적극적인 홍보와 안내, 최신 자료의 지속적인 업데이트를 할 수 있는 지원 체제를갖추는 것이 필요하다는 시사점을 얻을 수 있다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze early childhood professionals and parents\' need of the national kindergarten curriculum information in order to build the national kindergarten curriculum information sharing system. We use the questionnaire and 729 early childhood professionals and 503 parents respond to it. The major findings are as follows: the large numbers of respondents tend to less use of the national kindergarten curriculum information. Among the respondents, the large numbers of early childhood professionals are little knowledgeable to websites which provide the national kindergarten curriculum information. The users of the websites however report the inconvenience because they are not newly updated. The result shows that the early childhood professionals as well as parents require the information sharing system of the national kindergarten curriculum. For the efficient and active use of the system, it should be built with a support structure for updating new information. The system also needs to be open to the public.
