The purpose of this study is to discuss how both the psychological and the environmental factors would
affect the job satisfaction of wage earners with disabilities. In order to achieve the research goal, the study
reviewed the panel data on the employment of the disabled for the third year through the fifth year, and
proceeded with its investigation targeting a total of 627 disabled individuals who were working as wage
earners from the third year to the fifth year.
This study used the STATA program to conduct a panel regression analysis. The results of the research
are summarized as follows. First, the disability acceptance, one of the psychological factors, was confirmed
not to have an influence on the job satisfaction of the wage earners with disabilities. Second, of all the
environmental factors, only the employee welfare and services was determined to affect the job satisfaction
of the wage earners with disabilities. Third, the study learned that among the sociodemographic factors,
the marital status and the wage have a positive effect on the job satisfaction of the wage earners with
disabilities. Based on what has been found so far, the study came up with ideas to improve the job
satisfaction of the wage earners with disabilities.
