The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship among sex-role identity, career decision-making self-efficacy and dysfuntional career thoughts of university students. The subjects were 590 university students(253 men and 337 women) in Korea(Seoul and The National Capital region). The instruments used for this study were「Korean Sex Role Inventory: KSRI」(Chung, 1990) 「Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Short Form: CDMSE-SF」(Lee, 2001),「Career Thoughts Inventory: CIT」(Lee, Choi and Park, 2003). The dada was analyzed by difference test(one way anova, t-test), correlation analysis and regression analysis(stepwise) using SPSS/WIN 12.0 program package. The results of this research were summarized as follows: First, there were significant differences in dysfuncional career thoughts by the type of sex-role identity and the high-low level of career decision-making self-efficacy(p<.001). Second, there were significantly correlation among masculinity and feminity of sex-role Identity sub factors, career decision-making self-efficacy and dysfuntional career thoughts(p<.01). Third, masculinity and feminity of sex-role identity sub factors, career decision-making self-efficacy have significant effect on the dysfuntional career thoughts(p<.001).
