In-Service Teacher Training is the indispensable process for the teacher’s professional
development, so it is important to manage the quality of In-Service Teacher Training
Institutes. There have been In-Service Teacher Training Institutes under the government and
the provincial offices of education for the professional development of teachers. It is
necessary to establish the evaluation system to improve the quality of In-Service Teacher
Training Institutes such as the improvement of In-Service Teacher Training Institutes’
management conditions, the efficiency of program conditions, and the effectiveness of
In-Service Teacher Training Institutes. This study reflects the importance of managing the
quality of In-Service Teacher Training Institutes with the increase of various teacher policies
such as In-Service Teacher Training with the introduction of 2010 the evaluation of teacher
competence development, Master teacher system, Teacher research sabbatical system. The
evaluation of In-Service Teacher Training Institutes has been carried out from 2011 under the
government. However, a study on the introduction of the evaluation certification of
In-Service Teacher Training Institutes should be explored, because the evaluation of
In-Service Teacher Training Institutes should be approached with a new angle. In this
context, a study on the present condition and limitation of In-Service Teacher Training
Institutes, the operational realities of evaluation of In-Service Teacher Training Institutes, and
the introduction of the evaluation certification of In-Service Teacher Training Institutes is
considered with logicality and analysis.
