The purposes of this study were to develop, apply and evaluate the effectiveness of Cooperative Project Teaching-Learning Methode for improving self-efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers and to offer a more effective teaching-learning methode to pre-service early childhood teachers. The Cooperative Project Teaching-Learning Methode was developed firstly in consideration of the 4 steps of the Project Approach. One group was then taught play education, taking into account the Cooperative Project Teaching-Learning Methode. The results were then compared with another comparative group in terms of self-efficacy. Evaluation of the application of the Cooperative Project Teaching-Learning Methode reveals that the self-efficacy of the methode application group was highly effective in improving than the comparative group. Specially, the self-confidence, self-regulatory efficacy of the methode application group were improved significantly than those of the comparative group. Therefore, it is suggested that educators of pre-service teacher education should use the Cooperative Project Teaching-Learning Methode for improving self-efficacy of pre-service early childhood teachers.
