This study is aim to find what to consider and how to use UCC at preparation for
English course. Using UCC by analyzing learners’ requirements, their starting position (in
English ability), and the difference of participation purpose between one group with
experiences of English class using UCC and the other group with no experience when bring
UCC into teaching English which is recently rising as a big issue.
Basically this study is using typical frame of Technology acceptance model to construct the
research model and verifying the differences between two groups based on survey results.
To sum up the outcomes of this research, first, when comparing each factor’s averages of
two groups, the results of verifying about the differences of averages are meaningful in both
cases of experienced group and inexperienced group. Second, As results, experienced group
remains 5% level of H1(usefulness → intention of the Participants), H6(flow → usefulness),
and inexperienced group remains 5% level of H5(innovativeness → intention of the
Participants), H7(interaction → usefulness), both shows non-significant rate. Based on these
results, this suggests some matters to consider when using UCC in English classes and some
effective utilization.
