The purpose of this study was to find out the interactions between the students and the teachers in web-based synchronous discussion class. This research was done using contents analysis method of sixty eight pre-service teachers enrolling a course in first semester of the year 2008 for teaching profession. They are students of C university in Choongbuk province. The results were as following. First, the teachers spent most of their time carrying forward the class and the students spent most of their time in answering the question. Second, in every category, there were no significant difference in number of expressing opinion between gender. Third, in both cognitive dimension and social dimension category, the participation rate didn't show statistically significant differences neither by categories nor by gender. Fourth, the affect of giving question in class on interaction, didn't show much difference. But, in cognitive dimension(p<.001) and social dimension(p<.001), the students who gave question showed higher average. And they showed statistically significant difference
