The purpose of study was to investigate the effects of program focused on cognitive behavioral psycho education on job satisfaction, burnout, self esteem, dysfunctional attitude for teachers vulnerable to job stress. The group was divided into the experimental group and control group, the experimental group members took the program and control group members waited for the program. Two groups were surveyed the job satisfaction, burnout, self esteem, and dysfunctional attitude before and after the program. In conclusion, there were the significant group difference in job satisfaction, burnout, self esteem and dysfunctional attitude between two groups. The level of job satisfaction and self esteem of the experimental group was significantly increased, and that of dysfunctional attitude and burnout decreased comparing with the control group. The result showed that the program focused on cognitive counseling was effective on managing the job stress. Based on these results, implications of the effect of program focused on cognitive behavioral psycho education on job satisfaction, self esteem, dysfunctional attitude and burnout were discussed. Limitations of the study and the suggestions were offered for future research.
