The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the academic high school students' learning styles and the learning achievement. The paper found 4 types of learning styles and compared them to see if there were any relationships between the academic high students' learning styles and the scores of trial examination(Jong-ro academy) prepared for the national academic achievement examination for the college entrance. The results of this research were in substance as follows. 1) There are significant differences in the learning styles, that is, the overall distribution of subjects tends to incline to Whole-Imagers style and Analytic-Imagers style. According to gender, males distributes over various learning style but females tend to incline to Whole-Imagers style. 2) There are significant differences in the gender. Females achieve out-performing males in mathematics and sociology. 3) There is the correlation among sub-variables of learning style, subjects and subjects 4) Learning styles fitting each subject are as follows: Analytic-Verbalisers: Language and Sociology; Aanalytic-Imagers: Mathematics and Science, Whole-Vervalisers: Language and English, Whole-Imagers: English and Mathematics 5) There are significant differences in learning achievement of each subject by each learning styles.
