본 연구는 교육실습 기간 동안 교육실습생들이 경험한 갈등상황을 사례로 작성하게 하여, 교육실습생이 경험하는 어려움과 교육실습 프로그램의 개선방향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 교육실습생들이 지목한 갈등상황은 아동의 생활지도 영역이 가장 많았고, 교육실습생과 실습학교의 교육에 대한 견해 차이, 교육실습생이라는 불안정한 지위로 인하여 실습학급에 파급되는 부정적인 영향력, 그리고 학부모와의 관계 정립 순으로 나타났다. 보다 나은 교육실습 프로그램이 되기 위해서는 교육실습에 관여하는 주체(대학, 실습학교, 교육실습생)간의 지속적 대화 및 관계 유지의 중요성, 각 주체의 책임의식과 역할 분담 논의의 필요성을 지적하였다.
This research aims to find out the difficulties experienced by student teachers during student teaching period, and to discuss improvement of the student teaching program in the elementary school setting. The research shows that student teachers had hard time to deal with students' discipline problems in the classroom, to experience the different perspectives in educational principles between student teachers and cooperating teachers, to confront limited influences toward students due to the unstable status as being student teachers, and have a positive relationship with parents in the school. This research focuses on the importance of ongoing communication and relationships among university, schools, and student teachers which are highly connected in the student teaching program. It also emphasizes that major three parts have to share responsibilities and role-taking in the program.
