Person's gender role consciousness is constructed throughout the socialization processes. Gender role consciousness exerts a significant influence on formation of self identity or self estimation as an individual. Schooling contributes to the construction of gender role consciousness. Specially teachers are greatly influences on children's gender role formation. Therefore, this study aims to explore that teacher's gender role perception, attitudes and the need of gender role education. The results are most of teachers have traditionally stereotyped perceptions and attitudes toward gender role. The most teachers have not systematical approach to equal gender role education. Therefore, they need program, text and how to know androgynous education. In order to help teachers to change their gender role consciousness and to teach the equal gender role education, the program for androgynous education should be included as one of major selective in the education and training programs for teacher.
