The purpose of this study was to identify the subjectivities of volunteering as health-related college students. Q-methodology which provides a method of analyzing the subjectivity of each item was used: The 31 health-related college students classified 33 selected Q-statements into a normal distribution using a 9-point scale. The collected data was analyzed by the pc-QUANL program. Among the health-related college students, three types of subjectivities of volunteering were identified. Type Ⅰ; Acceptable form of volunteering through a rational approach type, Type Ⅱ; Acceptable form of volunteering through a emotional approach, Type Ⅲ; Negative perceptions type. The results of this study suggest that specific strategies should be developed to promote the choice of volunteering among health-related college students
