이 연구의 목적은 중등교사들의 교육청 주관 수업컨설팅 참여 경험과 특성을 분석함으로써, 수업컨 설팅 운영과 교원 전문성 개발에 시사점을 얻는 것이다. 이를 위하여 한 교육지원청에서 신규 중등교 사를 주 대상으로 실시한 수업컨설팅 참여 경험에 대한 사례 연구를 진행하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 교사의 수업컨설팅 참여 경험은 ‘수업컨설팅 이전, 수업컨설팅 신청 과정, 실시 과정, 평 가 과정, 수업컨설팅 이후’로 나누어 분석하였다. 교사의 수업컨설팅 참여 경험의 특성은 첫째, 수업컨 설팅의 요소 차원에서 목표는 ‘설정되지 않은 개인 차원의 목표’, 대상과 과업은 ‘교직생활 전반에 대 한 컨설팅’, 관련자는 ‘저경력 교사들의 컨설팅 의뢰’와 ‘컨설턴트로 활동하는 고경력의 동교과 교사’, ‘수업컨설팅에 대한 지원과 감독을 하는 교육지원청’이라는 특성을 보였다. 둘째, 수업컨설팅의 원리 차원에서는 자발성은 ‘수업컨설팅 과정에서 교사의 주도성’, 전문성은 ‘컨설턴트와의 래포 형성을 통해 커지는 신뢰감’, 자문성은 ‘컨설턴트의 도움 속에서 해결방안을 선택하는 교사’, 한시성은 ‘동교과 교사 에 대한 네트워크의 형성’, 독립성은 ‘교육지원청의 감독 하에 이루어지는 수업컨설팅’, 학습성은 ‘전문 성 개발의 발화점’이라는 특성으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 교육청 주관 수업컨설팅과 교원 전문성 개발에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.
This study analyzed what secondary teachers had experienced and what characteristics their experiences had in the instruction consulting(IC) by education office(EO) in order to obtain implications on the IC and development of teachers' professionalism. This is a case study about novice secondary teachers who took the IC by EO. The main findings of this study are as follows: First of all, this study showed that the experiences that teachers had 'before the IC', 'requst·implementation·assessment process of IC' and 'after the IC'. Next, the characteristics of the experiences that teachers had participated in the IC are as follows: In the dimension of the IC factors, the aims of the IC were 'unestablished individual aims' and 'consulting about the whole teaching profession life'. Furthermore, the consultee were 'low careered teachers who requested the consulting'; consultants were 'high careered teachers in the same subject' and consulting managements were 'EO who support and supervise about the IC.'. Next, in the dimension of IC principle, the principle of spontaneity appeared 'teacher's initiative in the process of IC'. Also appeared characteristics such as 'reliance that is getting larger through the formation of rapport with consultants' for the principle of professionalism; 'teachers who select a solution with help of consultants' for the principle of consultation; 'formation of network for the teachers in the same subject' for the principle of temporariness; and 'the IC implemented under the authority of the EO support' for the principle of independence. Finally, the principle of learning showed such characteristic of 'the ignition point for developing professionalism.' On the basis of the research results, implications on the instruction consulting(IC) and development of teachers' professionalism were presented.
