The purpose of this study is to develop a systemic model for identifying child’s disability early and
supporting after it’s identified. To do so, the study intends to first reveal the experience of parents with
disabled child on the identification of a disability and the difficulties they faced after the identification.
For this purpose, this study uses qualitative methods for data gathering, such as survey, focus group study,
in-depth interview and so on. Those data were then analysed with SPSS statistical program and qualitative
analyzing methods. According to the result of our study, the need for building the integrated online
information system has been identified for the immediate response to the disability in childhood, namely,
early identification and support for it. We also found that it is necessary to have an organization that
provides a professional screening test for the family who actually is the subject that identifies child’s
disability first hand. And that organization also needs to be able to trace the development of a disabled
child and to provide a individualized family support plan. This will help the family and its disabled child
to solve psychological and complicated needs, which is also likely to foster the development of disabled
child. Lastly, the study included preceding tasks for building an early identification and support system
for disability.
