The study aims at proniding research materials for the activation of dance sport as a wholesome leisure sprot and also for the eatablichment of right understanding of elemenraty school teachers on dance sport by investigating an analyzing the participation in dance sport, recongnition, and value on dance sport, the differnt job satisfaction according to thier career on dance sport.
The questionnaire was conducted targeting 282 primary teachers of participating and non-partivipating in dance sport in B metropolitan city and its result was analyzed by hypothesis x2 and one-way ANOVA analysis.
The research concluded as below.
1) The recongnition, value and job satisfaction according to the participation in dance sport
(1) In consequence of comparing the usual understanding on dance sprot , as for the teachers hwo have an experience on dance sport, the results are that \" their value became higher than before \" and \"it would be better by awaking and making efforts\" according to priority. As for the teachers who do not so, the result shows like \"their calue became higher than before: and \" it\'s still difficult to participate in dance sport in Korean society \" according to priority.
(2) After analyzing the palces being wanted to learn dance sport are a teachers\' training school, specialized private institute, sport center and culture center according to priority as for the teachers who have an experience on dance sport, As for the teachers who do not so, the desirable places for dance sport are teacher\'s training school, sport center, culture center, social education center and lifetime education center according to the priority.
(3) The physical and psychological value on dance sport of teachers who have experience on dance sport is more positive than the one\'s who do not so.
(4) The job satisfaction of teachers who have an experience on dance sport is higher than the one\'s who do not so.
