The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between adolescent's Parent-Child conflict, Psychological Reactance and Adolescent's runaway impulse. The subjects of the study were 301 adolescent who were selected middle school in Pusan, South Korea though the questionnaire method. Collected data were analyzed by the PASW 18.0 program. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, there was significant difference in adolescent's psychological reactance, parent-child conflict, runaway impulse according to gender. In Specific, female adolescent were higher psychological reactance, frequency of adolescent's parent-child conflict, strength of adolescent's parent-child conflict, runaway impulse than male adolescent. Second, in male adolescent, psychological reactance, frequency of adolescent's parent-child conflict strength of adolescent's parent-child conflict had correlation with the adolescent's runaway impulse. In female adolescent, psychological reactance, frequency of adolescent's parent-child conflict strength of adolescent's parent-child conflict had correlation with the adolescent's runaway impulse. Third, in female adolescent, psychological reactance and frequency of adolescent's parent- child conflict had interaction effect with adolescent's runaway impulse. And psychological reactance and strength of adolescent's parent- child conflict had interaction effect with adolescent's runaway impulse. In male adolescent, psychological reactance and frequency of adolescent's parent- child conflict had interaction effect with adolescent's runaway impulse. But interaction of psychological reactance and strength of adolescent's parent- child conflict had non significance with adolescent's runaway impulse. Based on those findings, in male adolescent, in order to reduce runaway impulse, it needs to reducing of psychological reactance and frequency of adolescent's parent-child conflict. In female adolescent, in order to reduce runaway impulse, it needs to reducing of psychological reactance, frequency of adolescent's parent- child conflict and strength of adolescent's parent-child conflict.
