The purpose of this study was to test the effects of college career course on career barriers, career
decision, career preparation behavior and career decision making self-efficacy. In order to reach to the
objective, contents of curriculum was developed on the basis previous research. The experimental group,
composed of 75 college students, attended ‘Career and Entrepreneurship’, Control group composed of 92
college students, attended other liberal art lecture. To test the effects of the college career course, this
study used career barriers scale, CDS, career preparation behavior scale and CDMSE-SE and analyzed
difference between groups. As this result, the carrier barriers, carrier decision, carrier preparation behavior
and carrier decision making self-efficacy have been confirmed significant difference depend on attending to
college career course. In addition, the categorized reflection of students on joined college career course
through the opened questionnaire shows maturity of carrier attitude, and which was becoming evidence of
the empirical result quality. In the future, the result of this study can be used by base data of college
career course.
