이 연구의 목적은 초등학교 4학년과 6학년들에 따라 학업탄력성과 지혜에서 차이가 있는 지를 살펴보고, 각 변인들 간의 상호관련성과 학업탄력성이 지혜에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 학업탄력성에서는 4학년들은 학업에서 어려운 상황에 직면하였을 때 부모와 교사들에게 도움을 요청하는 경향이 높은 반면 6학년들은 친구들과 어려운 점을 공유하는 친구지지와 자기 스스로 학습습관을 성찰하고 조절하는 학습조절이 높았다. 지혜에 있어서는 6학년이 4학년들 보다 높았다. 둘째, 6학년들은 친구지지와 학습조절이 지혜와의 상관정도가 높았고, 4학년들은 학업탄력성의 모든 하위요인들과 상관정도가 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 중다회귀분석 결과, 학업탄력성의 하위요인들 중 4학년들은 부모지지가 6학년들은 친구지지가 지혜에 미치는 상대적 영향력이 높았다. 이상의 연구결과들을 토대로 학교장면에서 초등학생들의 학업탄력성을 반영하여 지혜를 증진시키기 위한 학습 환경 조성방안들에 대해 논의하였다.
The purpose of this study was to compare the differences of academic resilience and wisdom across grade levels; to verify correlations among two variables, and to examine predictions of academic resilience on wisdom across grader levels such as 4th and 6th graders. Participants were 214 sixth and 199 fourth graders. The findings showed that there were significant differences of wisdom, indicating 6th graders displayed higher wisdom. Wisdom correlated positively peers’ support and learning regulation of academic resilience in sixth graders. Wisdom showed strongly positive correlations with parents and teachers’ support, peers’ support and learning regulation of academic resilience in fourth graders. For wisdom, parents’ support were the best predictor in 4th grader whereas For wisdom, peers’ support was the best predictor in 6th grader. These findings suggest that to enhance wisdom, it is desirable to consider academic resilience in elementary school setting.
