The purpose of this study was to survey theories regarding Design-Based Research(DBR), to suggest research design principles and research model as a design methodologies. To apply DBR in process of developing interventions like instructional model, instructional program would be overcame the problems and limitation of learning and instruction situation. In general, Interventions were developed to need a systemic, flexible methodology aimed to improve instructional theories and practice. DBR is grounded in both theory and the real-world context. DBR model that Based on DBR design principles consists of three phases: first, to extract authentic research tasks through literature survey involving research topic and field contextual investigation; second, to design authentic research method(procedure) was Based on authentic research tasks, and developed research system design from repetitively formative cycles; third, to develop pragmatically instructional practices is grounded in both theory and the real-word context. To implement from practice principle and repetitively formative cycles procedure of DBR, to integrate a variety of both qualitative and quantitative research methods. In application process, to increase the validity and reliability of DBR methods, DBR had a potential not only to construct more applicable designs over time but also to generate well-supported design theories about learning and instruction. Thereby resulting in deeper understanding of complex learning environments. Multiple sources of data from observations, interviews, surveys and others documentations were analyzed and classified as problems, weaknesses and suggestions for improvement, effectiveness and validity of the model applying to instruction.
