본 연구에서는 K-HTP에 Van Hutton(1994)이 개발한 채점시스템을 활용하여 성몰입, 공격성 및 적대감, 철 회 영역에서 성범죄, 일반범죄, 그리고 일반 성인 남성 간 그림반응 특성과 차이를 살펴보고, K-HTP가 이들 세 집단을 변별할 수 있는지 살피고자 하였다. 연구대상은 D시에 위치한 D 기관의 수형자들 가운데 성범죄, 일반 범죄, 그리고 D시 및 K지역 내 일반 성인 남성을 대상으로 얻어진 K-HTP 그림 275장을 분석대상으로 하였다. 자료처리는, 집단간 성몰입, 공격성 및 적대감, 철회 반응 특성의 차이를 알아보고자 교차분석을 실시하였으며, 집단간 차이검증을 위해 일원변량분석(One-Way ANOVA) 및 scheffe 사후검증을, 집단 간 변별가능성을 살펴 보기 위해 다중 판별분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 성몰입, 공격성 및 적대감, 철회 영역 및 영역별 지표에서의 세 집단 간 반응특성에 있어서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 또한 K-HTP에 적 용한 Van Hutton의 양적 점수 시스템은 성범죄 성인 남성, 일반범죄 성인 남성, 그리고 일반 성인 남성의 판 별에 유용하였다.
This study aimed to examine the possibility of quantifying the K-HTP responses of three different groups through Van Hutton’s quantitative scoring system. It targeted 275 K-HTP pictures acquired from sex and non-sex criminals institutionalized in D city, and from the general male adult population in K and D city. Cross analysis was conducted to uncover the differences in K-HTP responses among the groups. Also, a one-way ANOVA and a Scheffe post-verification procedure were conducted to verify the differences; a member-following variable analysis to examine multiple discriminant analysis among the groups. The results are as follows: The differences in preoccupation with sexually relevant concepts, aggression and hostility, withdrawal, and guarded accessibility were statistically significant among the three groups. The results illuminate the possibilities of discriminating sex and non-sex criminals and the general male adult population by quantifying the K-HTP responses through Van Hutton’'s quantitative scoring system.
