본 연구는 모래상자치료 자아발달 과정과 십우도의 선(禪)수행 과정의 관계에 대해 알아보 고 모래상자치료 사례에서 십우도를 활용한 분석의 기준을 통해 모래상자치료가 선(禪)수행 과 정으로 분석이 가능함을 밝히고자 하였다. 모래상자치료와 십우도를 비교하여 유사점과 차이점 을 찾아보고 모래상자치료 사례에 나타날 수 있는 정서·행동적 측면을 살펴보기위해 남, 녀 고등학생 2명을 대상으로 각각 26회기와 28회기 모래상자치료를 실시하였다. 모래상자치료 사 례에 십우도의 선(禪)수행 과정이 어떻게 표현되어지는지를 알아보고자 다양한 문헌과 자료를 근거로 하여 만들어진 분석기준에 맞추어 모래상자 작품의 내용과 표현을 분류하여 분석하였 다. 연구결과 모래상자치료의 자아발달 과정과 십우도의 선(禪)수행 과정은 제1도부터 제8도 까지 자기(Self)를 알아가는 과정으로 목적을 같이 하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었고 제9도와 제 10도는 종교적인 의미에서 영적차원의 수행으로 볼 수 있어 모래상자치료에서는 나타나지 않았 다. 따라서 본 연구는 모래상자치료 사례를 분석하는데 선(禪)수행 방식인 십우도의 과정을 활 용하여 기존의 방식에서 벗어나 새로운 시각으로 모래상자치료 사례를 접할 수 있는 기회를 제 공하였다.
The main research is to know the sandtray therapy process and the ten ox Herding Pictures relationship. In the sandtray therapy casel that was possible to reveal through the analysis principle for utilizing ten ox herding pictures. For examining emotional and active aspects that could be exposed in sandtray therapy is to compare the sandtray therapy cases and ten ox herding pictures to know similarity and difference. Each of a male and a female high school student as subjects have implemented the sandtray therapy session 26 and 28. In the sandtray therapy cases, to recognize how the ten ox herding picture of zen’s progression expresses, on the basis of various statements and literatures, the standard of analysis to categorize the expression of the sandtray therapy work to analyze. On the research result, the process of the sandtray therapeutic ego development and ten ox herding pictures of zen that was as process to know self from the first and the eighth degrees as purpose, the ninth and the tenth degrees were religious meaning that might be spiritual dimension has not been presented. Therefore, this research has utilized the ten ox picture of zen for analyzing sandtray therapy cases to depart existing method and approach cases with new perspective.
