This study examines how the degree of teacher efficacy varies depending on the caring educational climate. The analysis was conducted using hierarchical linear modeling based on 127 middle schools and involved 2,049 teachers in South Korea. The data were from the OECD Teaching and Learning International Survey of 2008. The result of this study shows the possibility that caring attitude of teachers within a school has a significantly positive impact on teacher efficacy. The main findings suggest that teachers in caring educational climate are likely to have higher teacher efficacy.
