학습장애아동은 신체적 정신적으로 타고난 장애로 인해 학습을 하기 힘들어 하는 아동을 일컫지만, 학습부진아동은 잠재적인 학습능력은 부족하지 않지만, 현재의 학업성취가 정상적인 또래학습자들에 비해 떨어지는 학생을 지칭한다(김선, 김경옥, 김수동, 이신동, 임혜숙, 한순미, 2001). 이런 학습부진아는 일반적으로 지능이 낮고, 기억력이 낮으며, 학습동기, 지적 호기심, 흥미 등이 약하다(홍재호, 1979). 또한 학습부진아는 기초적인 학습기능이 결손 되어 있으며, 학습기술이 부족하고, 학습행동이 부적절하며, 학습속도가 느리다는 특징을 가지고 있다. 학습부진아의 학습속도가 느린 것은 그들이 도구적 반응을 하는 데 요구되는 결정적인 자극에 주의를 집중시키지 못하는 데서 기인한다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the creativity education program on underachievers\' learning attitude. The subjects of this study were 30 5th grade underachievers. They were randomly assigned for experimental and control group. For this study, learning attitude was measured by the questionnaire made by Park, Gui-mi and supplemented by the researchers. The experimental group students participated in creativity education program for 6 weeks, but the control group were in regular classroom. To analyze data, Levene verification and ANCOVA in SPSS/PC 13.0 were used. The results show that the creativity education program improved underachievers\' learning attitude. Furthermore, we conclude that underachievers\' learning interest, problem-solving attitude, and learning attending attitude were also enhanced.
