The purpose of this study was to develop a popular music ensemble program applicable to middle and high school club activity class and their after-school activities. A team teaching may well be a proper pedagogic for individualized teaching of various instruments as well as for ensemble. The popular music ensemble program is designed as a double-structured teaching program. During the primary program, the teacher in charge of the instrument teaches a small group of students about the instrument, and during the secondary program, students are encouraged to participate in a ensemble program with their own instruments. Here, a teacher in charge of the session and other assistant teachers should guide the students in a team-teaching way.
