본 연구는 초·중등학교 학생들의 음악예술 향수기회를 확대해 주고자 국가 교육과정에 기초한 하는 ``현장성``, 교사들의 음악 교육을 효과적으로 지원할 수 있는 ``체계성``, 그리고 음악 예술 전문가들과 학교 사이에 꾸준히 실행될 수 있는 ``지속성``을 갖춘 음악예술프로그램을 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 음악예술프로그램 개발을 위하여 개발 방향, 개발과정, 구성방향과 목표를 설정하고, 이를 바탕으로 초·중학교에서 적용할 수 있는 프로그램의 주제, 내용 및 활동, 악곡 등을 선정하여 제안하였다.
The purpose of this study is to develop musical arts program for the elementary and secondary school students to expand accessibility to the in-depth and meaning musical experience based on the national music curriculum. The musical arts program in this study are focused as follows; (1) the field-based practice on the national music curriculum, (2) the systematic support of music teaching in schools, (3) the continuous cooperative system between school and musician or music group, and (4) the use of music mediator. Through the analysis of arts education programs in Korea and other countries and the survey of the perception of students` and teachers`, the researcher could have some important ideas and make more creative and advanced musical arts education programs of our own. The components of musical arts program are constructed program goals, themes, music contents, musical activities, and musical works for the students.
