본 연구는 현행 교육과정의 맥락 속에서 유아 교사들이 전래동요를 접근하고자 할 때, 교사들에게 ‘전래동요’ 접근의 방향성을 제시하고 ‘전래동요’ 활동 재구성에 도움을 주는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 3-5세 연령별 누리과정 교사용 지도서에 수록된 ‘전래동요’ 관련활동 17개의 활동목표와 내용을 분석하였다. 분석결과 ‘전래동요’ 관련 활동목표 39개중 28개가 한국 전래동요 특성과 관련성이 있었다. 전래동요의 노랫말, 음악, 놀이(유희)를 중심으로 분석한 ‘전래동요’ 목표 분석결과 노랫말과 관련된 목표가 6개(21.4%), 음악과 관련된 목표는 15개(53.6%), 놀이와 관련된 목표 7개(25%)로 음악과 관련된 활동목표가 가장 많았고, 노랫말과 관련된 내용이 가장 낮게 나타났다.
The purpose of this study is to suggest how to plan and practice as well as to reconstruct the traditional children`s song and activities based on the National Kindergarten Curriculum for teachers. To achieve this purpose, the objective and the content of seventeen activities related to the traditional children`s songs from the Nuri curriculum teacher`s guidebook were analyzed. The results of this study show: Firstly, according to the statement methods of objectives in 28 activities included 6 lyrics-centered statements, 15 melody-centered statements, and 7 play-centered statements. Secondly, in thirty-one activities related to children`s traditional songs had mostly ‘singing songs in diverse ways’ and ‘making one`s own creative lyrics, melody, and length of beats’ activities in the Age 4 and 5 Nuri Curriculum Teacher`s Guidebook.
