현재 음악과 교육과정은 2007 개정 교육과정에서 2009 개정 교육과정으로 그 적용이 연결되고 있는 시기이다. 특히 올해 초등 3~4학년은 2009 개정 교육과정 및 검정교과서가 처음 도입되어 적용되었다. 개정된 2009 음악과 교육과정의 주요 특징 중에 하나는 감상교육의 강조이다. 내용체계에 있어서도 감상영역을 따로 분리하여 음악 기초교육으로의 감상활동을 크게 강조하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 새로 개정되어 도입된 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등 3~4학년 음악 검정교과서 6종(권)의 국악 감상영역을 항목(비율, 갈래 및 형태, 학습내용)에 따라 분석하고, 그에 따른 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 이는 학교 현장에서의 활동적인 국악 감상수업을 위한 교육과정 재구성과 추후 개발되는 교육과정 및 교과서 개발에 시사점을 줄 것이다.
The current music curriculum is going through the period in which the revised 2009 curriculum from the revised 2007 curriculum is being applied in schools. In particular, for the third to fourth grade elementary school students, the revised 2009 curriculum and the authorized textbook were introduced and applied first this year. One of the main characteristics of the revised 2009 music curriculum is an emphasis on appreciation education. Also in terms of the contents system, the appreciation area was separated additionally; thus, appreciation activity as basic music education has become emphasized greatly. Therefore, this study analyzed the Korean traditional music area of six types (volumes) of the authorized music textbook for third to fourth grade elementary school students in accordance with the revised 2009 curriculum which was newly revised and introduced, and proposed subsequent solutions for improvement. This will provide implications in the restructuring of the curriculum as well as in the development of the curriculum and textbook to be developed in the future for active Korean traditional music appreciation class.
