본 연구는 유아교사를 대상으로 음악적 자아개념이 음악교수내용지식과 음악교육에 대한 태도를 어떻게 매개하는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 서울, 경기 지역의 유아교육기관 24개소의 유아교사 149명을 대상으로 음악교수내용지식, 음악교육에 대한 태도, 음악적 자아개념에 대한 설문조사를 실시한 후, 수집된 자료를 기초로 음악적 자아개념에 대한 완전매개와 부분매개모형을 설정하고 공변량구조분석에 기초하여 모형의 적절성을 검토하였다. 분석결과, 음악교수내용지식과 음악교육에 대한 태도 간의 관계에서 음악적 자아개념이 완전매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.
This study is investigated how early childhood teachers`` musical self-perception mediates the relationship between their pedagogical content knowledge of music teaching and their attitudes toward music education. A total of 149 kindergarten teachers working in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do responded to a set of questionnaires designed to measure their pedagogical content knowledge of music teaching, their attitudes toward music education, and their musical self-perception. Then, I compared a full mediating model and a partial mediating model using a structural equation model. The results indicate that musical self-perception has a full mediating effect on the relationship between teachers`` pedagogical content knowledge of music teaching and their attitudes toward music education.
