The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the power card strategy on the problem behaviors
of autistic children. For this purpose, one child with autism disorder who is financially supported by a public
kindergarten A kindergarten located in G district, Seoul city was selected as a child and a script and a
power card for intervention were produced according to the guidelines of the power card production. The
research design used a multiple baseline across behavioral design. Data collection was performed using the
partial interval recording method for 10 minutes every session during the entire 30 minute class. The results
of the study are as follows. First, the problem of word interception problem during the class of children with
autistic disorder was significantly reduced through the power card strategy. Second, inadequate posture
problem behaviors during the class of autistic children significantly decreased through the power card strategy.
Third, the repetitive and meaningless writing problem behaviors during the class of autistic children decreased
significantly by the power card strategy. The results of this study showed that the power card strategy had a
positive effect on reducing the problem behaviors of the autistic children and it was effective in reducing the
problem behaviors of children with autism. In addition, the power card strategy can be expected to have
effects on behavioral interventions with minimum cost and time, and it is possible to take the power card at
any time when the child needs it, so internal procedures for positive action are internalized, This is a
strategy that allows us to make adjustments
